Personnel Changes at PCNA's 'Porsche Exclusive' in US!
The 'Porsche Exclusive' team in the US is changing. Sascha Glaeser, its current manager, has been promoted to oversee the 'Porsche Experience Centers' that are currently being built at Atlanta and Los Angeles. Melissa Witek continues at 'Porsche Exclusive' back East but has been tasked also with '918 Spyder Client Relationship' since the departure of Daniel Eastman last Spring. Thus, PCNA has recently promoted Matthew Henry (who was a product planner based at PCNA Atlanta since 2013) to be a 'Personal Design Specialist' and he will be transferred to the 'Porsche Exclusive' office on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA next month! That was the CA office of Sascha Glaeser for the past few years. Matthew is a speed enthusiast with a motorcycle racing background. He is young and appears energetic, so hopefully he'll be able to come up to speed re: 'Porsche Exclusive' in a relative short period of time. No decision yet as to who will become manager of this operation after Sascha leaves to devote his full time to the 'Porsche Experience Centers', although it might be someone they transfer from 'Porsche Exclusive' in Germany.
Sascha, Melissa and Matthew at 'Porsche Exclusive' in the US can be reached by emailing them at: <customerconsultations@porsche.us>.

maybe you can get Matthew , being a new guy , enthusiast and all , to :
1) get them to finally add signal green and riviera blue thread to deviated stitch choices
2) move riviera blue, signal green and pastel orange to "special colors" exterior ( vs PTS) ..I think they'll see interest from GT3 and vintage inspired Targa buyers ( esp if latter avail with 911-50 wheels) ..(has anyone ever even seen a current " special colors " ime gold 991 or 981 on the road ?)
" Millenial " hipsters (19-31 yrs old ) are really into " mid- century " fashions from the analog late 50s/ early 60s and I predict a renewed interest in these stronger non metallic colors in next few years for Porsche sports cars , the pendulum swinging back away from the silver/ black tech- digital domain look of past two decades that many Gen X ( 33-45 yrs old ) Porsche lovers still prefer

I have zero, nada, zilch influence on anybody at 'Porsche Exclusive'. They could literarily care less what I think or if I post anything helpful to them on the forums re: 'Porsche Exclusive', PTS, deviating stitching, etc. If it wasn't for the fact that I have been a Porsche enthusiast since 1973 at age 23 & have too much history with Porsche to change horses now at this stage of the race, I would be concentrating my time & efforts on another marque!
I mentioned to both Sascha and Matthew at the Parade the need to add a 'green' deviating stitching color ASAP. As I mentioned before, that will for sure make it appear soon...not. On a serious note, they already have a 'blue' stitching that works on 'Riviera' and 'Mexico' exterior, but its on special request. See attached photo.
Fat chance. They are making too much money selling us 'Riviera' and 'Pastel Orange' as PTS! Besides, special colors are pretty damn expensive at $3,140. PTS is 'only' $5,500 at present...and it buys you exclusivity too. So maybe its a better deal...if you can get a rare & attractive PTS done on your custom 991 or 981.
Colors offer in production vehicles (vs PTS which is order-driven) are chosen by a secretive group at Zuffenhausen that considers fashion trends and the what's 'in' re: automotive 'colors d'jour'. Also remember that Germans have a completely different sense of color taste than other Europeans and Americans. So they will always throw in a bone, or two, for their Teutonic base to chew on...and 'Lime Gold' is a prime example of that. Don't worry, 'Lime Gold Metallic' will NOT survive the .2 facelift color palette coming up in MY2016 on the 991! And for me it doesn't come a moment too soon!
I hope so. Take a look at yesterday's Parade of Porsches at Laguna Seca (last photo), which took place on the last day of the week's PCA gathering here in Monterey (MKW was an entrant and maybe attended this event!). This is the enthusiast crowd and you can see some 'Yellows', 'Oranges', 'Rivieras', Turquoise', etc. But the bulk of the Porsche field were painted grays, blacks & silvers....
