Default no more 991 for me

I traded my 2012 991C2S w/7mt and 35k miles for a 2012 997.2 TT-S and 26k miles on Friday. While I'm sure I will miss the 3 pedals at times, the TT-S is a brute with scary acceleration that is more than fulfilling my needs for fun so far. And, I do find the 997.2 steering has a better feel than the 991 steering. I have a 1988 911 cab and 1999 Jeep Wrangler to get my 3 pedal fix as needed.

Father's Day present? Congrats! If you bought the 991 new, then you will save a lot each year on Ad Valorem since you won't pay any on the TTS.

Coming from a E39, I'm sure the man missed the low-end torque.
The TT-S should resolve that issue quite nicely.

I did not pay Ad Valorem on the 991 as it was purchased after 1/1/2012.

It is very comfortable. I know the 997 cabin is suppose to be smaller than the 991, I don't don't notice it.

Congrats on the Turbo!

The boost is addictive, isn't it?

I went from a 996 TT to a 911 C2. I do miss the power and torque, but sure love the 991.

I am going to look at what was most likely your car this week. Would you be willing for us to get in touch by phone or email so I could ask a few questions about it? I guess I need to upgrade my membership because I can't PM yet.
