For a few hundred bucks ppl could get more of a ownership experience vs a test drive?
Bargain track car? No worries about an accident or driving it hard on a track.
What would you do with a rental that you would not do with your own?
I don't care to own a boxster but i think I'd prefer it as a vacation rental.

I just paid $275 per day in Miami Beach for PCS but not at Hertz. It was http://carefreelifestyle.com/.
I always use Brian Mundey, he treats me much better than what I am reading here about Hertz - 1.866.589.8796. They have it all there; Porsche, new Jaguar, Ferrari, Lambo, etc etc. They also do luxury home and condo rental and boats.
