The full glass roof is a very nice feature. Although I'm a sunroof guy.
If I'm going to be parked in the sun during the day, I'll close the black retractable interior headliner. Keeps it cool inside.

I have sunroof...didn't think I wanted it, but got it anyway. I am glad I did . It came a few rattles that eventually went away.

I have the regular sunroof. It's brilliant. Wouldn't want my car without it. Just brings in a waft of fresh air on those sunny day trips. Plus, you can hear your engine sooooo much better with the sunroof cracked open ...

I have a glass sunroof and would get it again. The seals squeaked at first but the dealer fixed it without too much trouble. I'm usually under cover but when I autocross I'm out in the sun all day. I don't even close the shade.

The main advantages of a sunroof are:
- seeing the extra extension of the spoiler in the rear window when you pop it (with Sport PASM),
- more direct access to added symphony of the sport exhaust and
- total relief from buffetting when windows are down about about 70 mph.
Other than that its just sunshine and fresh air.

I test drove a coupe and the buffeting was terrible 50 to 60 with the windows up. I thought to myself it would render the sunroof useless unless going under 50. That said the glass sunroof looks really nice especially in a white car.

I must have a weird car. No rattles. No buffeting. Lots of sun and fresh air. No regrets. I wouldn't take a 911 without a sunroof. Sounds crazy but it's one of the main reasons I passed on the GT3. To each their own.

I have the metal sun roof on my car (preferred the look to the glass roof). It's great when tilted to get some extra sound track from the engine/exhaust and to reduce buffeting as mentioned above.
Downside, I mounted a GoPro on the roof and with the sun roof open I couldn't believe how much play there was in it when driving. Made me think twice about driving with it open at anything over suburb speeds.
If I were to do it again, I'd be 50/50 on speccing it tbh.

Didn't get it due to headroom. I sat in otherwise identical sunroof and non sunroof 991's. It adds a good 2 inches of headroom behind the opening. If you are tall, think very seriously about this. For me it was the deciding factor between being able to comfortably drive a 991 and not. Could not have a sunroof equipped car.

I totally disagree about the headroom. Tons of it with sunroof. I'm 6'3" and my son is 6'5". Tons of headroom for both of us. Way more than my old 997 because roof pops out rather than in. If you are between 6'9"-7' might be an issue.

For 6'3" I could see there being plenty of headroom - but at 6'5", your son's gotta be getting close to the roof. But then again, everybody's a bit different.
