Do you guys check it once in awhile after driving to see if it’s loose? The drivers side of mine tends to pop loose every now and then, I just push it back in.

Or at 3x a year.. you think it’s not just someone whose been jacking your lip given how easy it’s to pop off?

just as a data point, Ive had the Cup Aerokit lip on my '15 C2 GTS Cab for about 4+ years now ... and it scrapes every time I back out of the driveway but I have (knock on wood) never lost one/it yet!

I think it looks a LOT better than the stock GTS lip...

YMMV

p.s AFIAK the lip *requires* pop rivets!!!

^^^ Ok, thx! I've just been snapping it in. If you park and bump up against a parking stop, I've found that when you back up it pulls off the car, and can easily lose it that way.

every time I reverse out of my driveway I pull the middle of the lip out of its clips ... but both ends are retained by a number (I forget how many) pop rivets, these seem to do the job, and I just pop the lip back into
its slots when I next get out of the car ...

note the suncoast parts page I posted above includes the option to add 6x pop rivets .... which you can probably get from your friendly local dealership

I have to check it every time I back out of my driveway ... it pulls out in the middle but the pop rivets at either end retain it in place...

Thanks! - I'm not *really* back - I'm actually a just a 'bot' taking some "me time" off from pushing fake news on other social media!

I had a launch edition (2012.2) 991 C2S and it came with stock lip and I changed to this lip without any modification. I took out the stock lip (some screw removal was required) and popped this one in (no need to screw anything).

Ah, first I've heard of some "official" lip poppers. Thanks!

A good friend of mine is one of the founders of Pelican, so he gives me great prices. He lives just a few minutes from my house, so makes delivery free!! I buy lips by the case from him.

No offense to Suncoast, a good vendor too.
