Default Maxium Weight in Frunk

I can't find it in the manual or online.

What's the maximum weight load I can safely put in the front trunk?

I have to bring home some paving stones from Home Depot tonight (I'm going to wrap them in an old blanket so they don't scuff anything up) but I'm not sure how much weight I can carry up there?

Any help much appreciated.

Home Depot rents trucks for about $35. Do it.

http://press.porsche.com/vehicles/12..._911_Specs.pdf

Says payload is approx 914 / 959lbs for Base / S respectively.

You door sticker gives you an indication and there's another sticker in your frunk

That "payload" includes the weight of people. And it assumes 4 passengers, nicely balanced between the axles.

I would not put more than 200lbs up front in the frunk. And certainly don't hit any potholes on the way home.

Sweet--frunk has the capacity of a 1/2-ton, full-size pickup!

Reminds me of the time I went to Home Depot to pick up river pebbles to make a parking pad at the end of the paved driveway. I threw 18 bags in the back of the Acura MDX and then started home. Whew--she sure is riding low in the back, I thought. Then I did the mental math: 18 bags x 50 lbs/bag = 900 lbs. Crikey! Poor MDX. She survived, though. Just rode low 'n' slow.

OP, I've wondered the same thing since I put a large plastic bin in the frunk filled with tools, air pressure gauge, pyrometer, brake pads, motor oil, etc., for trips to the track. I can't imagine it's meant to hold much more than a hefty suitcase.

How about installing a trailer hitch? I'm just kidding around. I simply cannot imagine putting that sort of load in the frunk. I'm with LV, rent the HD truck.

I suppose May is moronic Month around here.
The OP asks a question and is inundated with snarky comments and suggestions.

I provide the payload info AND the door sticker (that gives further details of 600lbs) and more helpful comments.

Sad...

Come on, chill, it's a discussion forum replete with opinion, and not a few characters who are just having a little fun, maybe poking fun too. Sort of like a bunch of friends getting together. Do not be saddened.

Yeah and besides, "old blanket" is a dead giveaway its a prank question. Everyone knows Porsche recommends their Techquipment Porsche Magnetorheological fluid-filled load dampeners for hauling stuff like this.

define "some". I brought home four 12 x 12 stones from Lowe's along with five bags of ice and three pounds of meat on Sunday and survived.

I like to exaggerate......you can really rent a truck from Home Depot for as low as $19 for 90 minutes.
