20" Carrera Classic or 20" Turbo Wheels?
I am in the final process of configuring my Jet Black Metallic w/Expresso Natural Leather, Carrera 2S CAB 991. Now the hard part is the wheel selection, 20" Carrera Classic or 20" Turbo Wheels? I really like the Turbo Wheels, but they look like they would be rather difficult to clean.
Looking for recommendations, thoughts and opinions.

Congratulations! The turbo wheels look razor sharp in the flesh and have a 'larger' appearance. IMO they look great against a black car as they are also very 'bright' compared to some of the other options.
I went for sport techno painted with body colour (per the avatar) and they are very easy to clean - its possible to clean the entire hub through the spokes.
Of course it all comes down to taste... I'm thrilled with the technos but I was very tempted by those turbo wheels as they do turn heads!

+Sport Techno wheel. 1) easy to clean 2) look great 3) you get a 305 rear tire (vs a 295) 4) wider....you you don't need to spend $500 on 5mm spacers
5) free color crest wheel caps (Included with the STW) forgot this one
So, if you factor in the "value" of the wider tire and the no-need for spacers.....the Sport Techno wheel upgrade is only a few hundred extra bucks. Win-win.

Everyone is going to pick the wheels they have, so somewhat of a dead end. But look at the pros and cons between the two. spacers are no big deal. they cost less than the premium to get the sport technos and can look more aggressive.
Classics:
darker inner parts. never really appears dirty. however, more common than turbos obviously.
Turbos:
more unique. harder to clean. some might think you're posing with turbo wheels on non-turbo car (I'm not one of those)
The Classic and Turbo wheels have a similar design with many spokes, so I see the dilemma. The Sport Technos are totally different, and it's all about your taste.

Since this topic came up, I'm curious if anyone knows if there is an significant weight difference between the different wheels. The Sport Technos are slightly wider, so I assume they are the heaviest. Nothing significant I'm sure, but just curious.

Thanks for the feedback from everyone, all of you are making good points to consider in my selection. I personally have just never been a big fan of the Sport Techno wheels for my own cars. Just my personal taste.

Personally, I would go with the Sport Technos for all the reasons already mentioned.
But as to the choice between the Classic and Turbo? I'd go with the Classic. The Turbos don't look right on any car except, well, the Turbos (and even then, they look kind of odd). Turbo wheels on a 911 C2S makes one sort of look like a poser.

Congrats on a really great spec. I had an espresso interior 991 and just loved it. Wonderful quality leather and looks fabulous! Best thing I did was splash out for the exclusive leather air-vents (and steering column) it really made the interior something special! Did the same on my 50th.
For the wheels either a great choice (and the Turbo ones only look a little odd to us as we expect them on a Turbo) but the classics my personal favourite.
Enjoy. I always love the process of speccing.

My vote is for the Classics (surprise, I have them on my car). I think they look more elegant and, well . . . classic 911 than the Turbo wheel. All of function of personal taste, at the end of the day, and you really can't go wrong with either choice.
Drmatara, the Classics come with a 295 rear tire.
