Yes. I missed the v key. I stand corrected.

I have a 2014 911 C4S Cab that I just took delivery of in May. It did not come with the Porsche 5mm spacers. I contacted Wheel Enhancement and they recommended a set of HRE spacers: 7mm for the front and 15mm for the rear. I plan to install them this weekend. I also noticed that the rear fender lip has a far wider roll-over than the front - so something to consider.

Thanks for the info. I ended up bailing on the rims that were going to require the spacers, and found some stock ones that were designed for the C4S - less moving parts = less problems. I still haven't bought the new rims, though, as the ones that came with the car are starting to grow on me

Hi everyone,

My name is Frank and I am new to the Rennlist community!

I am planning to get spacers for my 991.1 4S (w/ SPASM) that has the Carrera S wheels. I heard that, for a ''Very FLUSH'' set up, some Porsche wheels require different spacers it could play between 15mm - 17mm and even 18mm.. Anybody has fitted their 4S (carrera S wheels) with such spacers? (pictures please, if possible)

I've been navigating throughout the forums/topics but I couldn't find a specific answer to my question (considering I have the carrera S wheels that, I believe, are narrower)

A BIG THANK YOU

Really depends on the wheels you choose. I got my 4S stock with Sport Design wheels that came from the factory with 5mm spacers all around I now have HRE wheels that don't require any spacers and are more flush than the stock wheels with spacers. Look at whatever wheels you are considering and their offsets compared to your Porsche specs and it will tell you what spacers you need. 15-17 mm spacers usually mean they are narrow body wheels or not Porsche wide body specific wheels you are looking at.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I am actually keeping the stock Carrera S wheels (as shown in the pic), only shopping for the right spacers .. I heard that some people chose the 15mm in the rear but it was not completely flush with the stock wheels..
Looking forward to see if anybody could post pics with the actual Carrera S wheels or If I should go 17mm rear and 10mm front...

Thanks again

Hey!

Just installed 7 + 15mm spacers from Suncoast on my C2S, Michelins (255 + 305s) and I am very pleased with the result, but would NOT go with more than 15mm, IMHO.

I did however pick up a bit of vibration on the steering wheel at 40-70mph. I am guessing a fix would be to change the tire pressure-setting from comfort to full and adjust the pressure accordingly, or am I missing something?!

I believe the carrera s wheels on the 4 models are wider than the narrow body ones.

Consider getting wheels that don't require spacers with proper offsets. Then consider lowering the car with springs and that will give you the look you want.

I would not put 23mm spacers on the car if I could buy wheels that will fill the gap.
