Martin,

The weather on the weekend was splendid. The weekend before had me worried, but everything went perfect for this event aside from the rock chips I got as badges of honour.

About 900 km on the car. It is slowly going up.

I thought I'd share some more photos from the event I participated in this past Sunday.

Absolutely, regularity type event but on the less serious side, starting OPC Mid Sussex and finishing with some laps of Goodwood maybe...?

I apologize for the length of the video. It's about 22 minutes. I tried to condense a days worth of fun as much as I could. Also, apologies for the video quality. I didn't realize that my GoPros were on wide angle, so the footage isn't as great as I was expecting.

I hope you enjoy.

Great video, I liked the wide screen. Was surprised to see some in some of the shots the amount of dash reflection consider you have a black dash.

thanks for the video Richard. Rallying looks like fun. My parents used to rally back in the 50s with a Sunbeam Alpine.

Thanks. The glare you don't notice really when driving. I was surprised too when I was editing the raw footage.

Thanks. It was fun. The rock chips cone as a badge of honour, but we'll worth it.

I know my way pretty well in NW London to Cotswolds and can think of a few great pit stops in between such as Crazy Bear in steadhampton so can only comment if the path falls within that region. Otherwise I am happy to head to whatever destination, mind I will only be able to join from mid July onwards due to delivery & work.

You guys will have fun. Even the organizing will be fun because you get to drive on and discover all sorts of roads.

Make sure you remember to zero out the odometre at each new check point, otherwise people will get lost.

Sorry for spamming pictures from the event I did last weekend, but I got a link to some more photos to share. Photo credit to Kevin Uy.

Not exactly a video about my 50th, or exclusive to 991s, but I went to the Dundarave Show and Ride on Sunday. It was a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Here's a walk around video of most of the cars that showed up.

Not as much video footage as I wanted because a lot of people kept coming up to me and asking about the colour and wanting to see inside. The weather wasn't great either. It poured on us around noon. Last year there were Carrera GTs and other cars that I think were scared of the weather this year.

That is not a bad idea. Been a few years since I've been back to Victoria, and longer since I've driven around that area. I'll see if I can find time this summer. Thanks.

Let me know if you're coming over - maybe get a couple of people together for a drive? I'll pick up some Pagliacci's bread for you!
Still have not heard where my car is at present - no info in the Porsche system when I checked with dealer today . Hoping it arrives by late July.

German Car Festival at Waterfront Park in North Vancouver, B.C. yesterday. This is where the local Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, and Audi clubs show up.

I have multiple videos on my YouTube channel, but I thought I'd put the Porsche one up here as it is somewhat relevant.

There was also this gem that decided to show up:
