i found there is no need to even touch the bumper. I use the backs of my left hand fingertips there within 1/4" or so on my 2017, and the frunk opens.

I LOVE the feature! Except when washing the car...need to make sure the key fob is no in my pocket otherwise just with the water from the hose going down the hood the Frunk would open! Did have a problem removing the dummy key once but never really need to remove it. Can't remember why I even tried.

I love Entry and Drive. Our Volvo has the same feature. I just carry the key fob in my pocket and never need to touch them. I have house keys on a separate key ring and only carry them if I think I'll need them.
