My build is very similar - I'd love to see some shots of the interior if you take any - if only to get some tops on how to shoot inside. I use my trusty D800 and 24-70 f2.8 and I'm keen to start shooting on my 'due date' of June 13.

Thanks,

ah yes...the interior shot...depending on what you want of course but at first blush (i'm going to google nikon equivalents here...) you have a full-frame so get the 17-35 f/2.8 and go nuts. maybe combine with a good macro to pick up some of the subtle nuances of the interior design.

Here's one. Wrong lens, no depth of field, but better than nothing (35mm Summicron F2 Asph, 1/90th, f3.4 ISO 160).

looks like you're focusing on the stick.
maybe try on the chrono and close down to f11 or just above to f8.

Agreed; was in a hurry on that shot because I had to move the car to let someone get in their garage, so just shot aperture priority with an open aperture from my prior shot. Next time....

I like what you did here! I think 35mm was a nice compromise as a 50mm wouldn't have captured everything, and I don't like what a 20mm-ish would do to a confined space like an interior.

Depth of field is great too IMHO - gives the image a softness on the seat and wheel where sharpness wouldn't have helped anyway.

A beer for you next time you're in Calgary! Keep 'em coming!

Absolutely lovely. I have so much love for Graphite Grey, and the 50th Anniversary Edition.

Can't wait for mine to get in.

Thanks for sharing, and enjoy in good health!
