wonderful build . I would consider one thing, the dark gauges are hard to see during daylight hours.

It looks great. I won't be long now. I like how the visualizer shows the car with clear side markers.

Danke. I was also concerned about this as well but I tested out a base 911 and the only gauge I found myself paying attention to was the tach. I keep my contacts prescription nice and tight so no problems here! The only other contrasting face I would consider would be the white face but that would spoil the dark look I have planned out.

Oops. C2S. We only have summer for about 3 months a year so this is going to be designated as the shuttle for only those months. It will be hibernating for the rest. I have an assortment of 4x4s for the ice/snow and want to keep this car in great shape for a lifetime. Re: sports chrono...it must be just me but at traffic lights I can actually hear the ticking of the chrono and it drove me crazy so it was a no-go. The dynamic engine mount is more track trick and the auto blip is unnecessary for me (although it is very trick).

Yup...mid June is what I was told. you would think they would change for NA market. Oh well, I have to comb through your list of doodads in your journal and cherry pick some of my faves. I'm looking very much forward to joining the league of extraordinary gentlepeople and happily snapping away my mechanical child. Money, maybe well trade some lightroom filters! Lol

GT Silver, 7MT, PSE -- just awesome! And I'm with you on skipping the sport chrono.

i was really agonizing on the glass sunroof because i feel like i would like the option of some light sometimes but if i'm doing GT silver, the black roof just looks goofy!

Have you ever seen one in real life? I have and so I would have to disagree with you. In fact, I think GT Silver with the contrasting glass sunroof looks brilliant. But to each his/her own. I'd be careful with judging too much from the configurator ... it can be extremely misleading, especially when it comes to colors.

This. The configurator's renderer is a 1980s-era joke. Go to a dealer and look for yourself before your order locks.

I prefer a painted roof over a black glass top, too, as I feel it works better keeping the sweeping lines of the body clean and un-interrupted. But you really can't go wrong either way. It's hard to screw up a 991.
