You're not wacked (in fact, you're one of the most normal/sensible RLers, imo) but I think you might be surprised on this one. Either way, if one wants to celebrate the tradition or pretend he has an LE car, I say "go nuts". Who really cares if it makes the guy (or gal) happy.
