Default Garage Floor Renovation Ideas?

Hi Guys, I may be off topic but I am so excited about my new 991 that I want to redo my garage floors to do it justice.

I'm looking for thoughts about those interlocking tiles vs epoxy and what you guys think I should do. My idea is to get a glossy red type of epoxy primarily, maybe with the granite flake look. I'm having someone come give me a quote in a few days on my 3 car garage. Another idea would be to seal in a Porsche logo under the epoxy clear coat.

Maybe the epoxy and tiles where the cars go so I don't wear through the epoxy? I did the basic epoxy you get at Home Depot on my other property and I didn't like the results. I couldn't get rid of the cracks myself either very well. I didn't seal it the flakes in professionally etc. as it wasn't part of the kit. What do you guys think? Any ideas or suggestions will help. Thanks

http://www.swisstrax.com/ribtrax-garage-tile.php

I did two garages this way with exceptional results (with a designer who handled cabinets as well, etc)

Unfortunately I sold both houses (easy with the garages) and now live in a 1950s craftsman/rambler/cottage near school while I'm finishing up a later-in-life degree. Lol. Hmmm where's a pic.

if you do a search using "epoxy garage" in the 997 forum you will see a lot of suggestions...I almost redo my garage after reading them.

After a great deal of research, I bought and installed Ribtrax by Swisstrax. Lots of color choice and of course you can create any design to your liking. But the surface stays very clean and there is never any standing water because of the design. One the shadowing effect - my floor is a single color but the ribbed design appears if two color tiles were used. The practical nature of this material is far beyond my expectations. Fantastic floor and now I wouldn't have anything else.

I went with Race Deck tiles. Easy installation. You can see pictures in this thread:

Stain your concrete and then clear epoxy finish coat.

Default garage floor...

These are the vinyl squares that you heat-up glue on the cement to install.
They lasted about 10-12 years, then started showing their age & a few have started cracking...supposedly, I can heat the glue up & replace the damaged ones.
I think I'd prefer a shiny painted surface nowadays.

I tiled mine. Got them from here: http://www.modutile.com/garage-floor-tiles-coin-pp.html .

They've been down for a year and have been just great. No complaints at all. You just snap them together - they float on top of the concrete floor so no epoxy or special cleaning of the surface was required. Mine is in a checkerboard grey/black pattern.

tiles are definitely the easy way to go and they look nice too. I did black tiles.

We have a central vac system and the power unit is in the garage. I literally vacuum the floor and then use a MF mop with an all purpose cleaner to "clean" the surface. Takes about 20-30 minutes to do the entire garage. You can also hose down it all down and really get it clean but I've found that to be unnecessary up to this point. It's easy and quick.
