I am having my passport max hardwired with the remote. Trying to figure out best place to put the remote. Any thoughts are appreciated.

My 9500ix is hardwired off the fuse box in the drivers side foot well. Assuming you are doing the same, I would mount it under the dash below the ignition. That is where mine is. Easy access and no extensive wiring required.
