Default Sunroof impact on headroom

How does the non-glass sunroof impact headroom? Does the area near the door side window intrude on space? I'm not much on sunroofs (susceptible to skin cancer) but thought it might be a good idea to exhaust interior heat with a black interior.

No impact, and the ability to pop the back is good both for exhausting the interior and removing the booming that occurs with the windows down at speeds over 65.

I'm 6' 6" and it's not remotely an issue. My head doesn't get near the sunroof.

Cooling the interior is one of my reasons.

Do you have to adjust the seatback to fit? I take it you don't come into contact with the area that is above the driver's window? From images, it looks like that area is about an inch or so below the main central portion of the roof.
