Looking for a removable bra for my 991. Went on a "spirited" drive with my local chapter of PCA over the weekend and found a couple of small rocks chips when I got home.
I had a two piece bra for my SC that was made out of leather or vinyl that had one part to go over the frunk lid so it could be opened and the other would wrap around the front. Does anyone have something like this for their 991? Not even sure they are made for this car. Don't want to go the clear bra route.
If anybody has experience with this or knows who makes them, I would appreciate your comments. Thanks!

I was so excited when I saw your post title. Lol!
These spirited drives with groups of cars can be brutal. It's best just to hang back and not tailgate the car in front of you.

I really did try to hang back but I had this Turbo in front of me that I just couldn't let get away.
On a side note, had a small shimmy in the front end of the car whenever I'd hit 125 mph. Anyone else see this on theirs? And please no comments on the stupidity of the driver!

When doing these drives with packs of cars, you have to really watch the line the car takes in front of you, especially on curves, and if they drop a wheel below the solid white line, that's where all the old debris hangs out and gets stuck and kicked back into you from the hot tires.
Same thing when they cross the centerline or center divider line.

SPEEDLINGERIE.COM has a nice 2 piece vinyl bra for the 991. I plan on purchasing one this spring. I also have a old style bra for my 82 SC but this one is nicer fitting and is available in colors. It is not shown on the web site, but call them to order.

Thanks Gary. I saw their website as I was searching for bras over the weekend but had never heard of them. Wasn't sure they made one for the 991 as a BMW is in the picture. If you would, send me a PM when you order yours and let me know how you like it. Thanks again.

The hot sticky tires can be a real pain for pristine paint! If you can't find a suitable vinyl bra you might consider a clear bra.....unless you really can't stand the paint not looking it's best because it's covered.

There's also a couple of "spray on" temporary bras now available. 3M makes one called Paint Defender that is available at most local auto parts places now. Feedback is good, spray it on, peel it off when your trip is done.
