Default 3M-Venture Shield Install Sanity Check...

CLEAR-BRA: Install the following 3M/Venture Shield clear-bra kits on a 991 S w/ Aerokit Cup package:

Hood & fenders (full coverage) & mirrors.

A-pillars and roof-line.

Lights front - headlight and fog/daytime running.

Bumper with areo kit package

12 hours of labor - $1200
parts - $995

seem reasonable? this is a shop that does high end cars.

I think that sounds ludicrous....but then I haven't had a clearbra on a car since 2005 so what do I know.

That's what my dealer quoted me for the same surfaces, I would say you have room to negotiate since my dealer is clearly making a margin on what he quoted me

That seems high, I had all those surfaces plus behind the front/rear wheels, door sills and rear fender flares for $1750.

Also don't forget that the installation will make or break the look so make sure you at some of the work that person has done before going to a cheaper guy.

This is one thing I did not negotiate on and figured I would maybe get a better job than save a few bucks.

^^^^ Exactly. Don't look for a bargain. Look for the best installer.
