$925 for me in Houston. That includes $25k to cover my mods.
Deductible is $500. Surprisingly it's only $200/yr more than my Kia Optima.

Liberty Mutual. I just signed up the Porsche recently but my other two cars just went up in cost from last year. So I assume that last year the cost for the Porsche would have been even lower. And yes, I was surprised how cheap it was too. I guess there are benefits of getting older. Hehe.

Edit: And they only do my car. I have my house going through another company.

You might check Amica (a mutual). I'm in Fort Worth, 5 cars + homeowners runs me around $2100. No 991 on the insurance yet, but carrying a Cayman S and Boxster Spyder with $1000 deductible.

My insurance is through NJM who is supposed to have the best rates in NJ (if you qualify). My 991 C2 was the highest value car they would insure at their regular rates without getting an underwriter involved. With full coverage ($1000 deductible) and I believe I qualify for their lowest risk and most discounts these days, I'm at about $1000 per year for "pleasure use only". My previous 2002 996TT needed underwriting and was about 50% higher.
I have paid much higher in the past with much cheaper cars and less coverage. Make a few "mistakes" in NJ and you are forced into a high risk, fixed rate "pool". A younger guy at work with a couple of at fault accidents was paying about $6k per year for the minimal liability only coverage required to drive!
