991 C4S Work VSSX 3 Piece Wheels
I'm hoping that someone here may be able to clarify... I purchased a new set of Work VSSX wheels years ago and never ended up using them. 20" wheels are not favoured by the 997 crowd (these were built for a 997tt), though I'm thinking that they may fit nicely on a 991 C4S.
The specs are - 8.5 & 12 x 20” ET56 front / ET50 rear & they have the hole for TPMS.
I'd like to list them for sale, though want to be certain that they will work. All the research I've done leads me to believe they would be a great fit (perhaps with a small spacer for the front). They are beautifully made wheels - here are a few pics:
Any help will be appreciated!

Stock fronts are 20x8.5 et51. I'm running a 7mm spacer up front. Your wheels will require either a 10mm or a 15mm spacer, to look flush, which is quite a big one for the fronts - adding that much scrub radius means quite a bit of wheel kickback with a large spacer over bumps, etc. Ideally a 12mm, but I dunno if anyone makes those for Porsche.
The rears should fit, although would again, likely be best with a spacer. Stock is a 52mm offset 20x11 for the C4/C4S, and I'm using a 15mm spacer, so the equivalent of a 37mm offset 11" wide wheel. Your wheels are 12", so 12.5mm further out, but 6mm more offset, so the equivalent of 6.5mm" closer to the fender. Likely a 10mm spacer would make them right.
The problem is that most people who spend money on aftermarket wheels, aren't going to want to use spacers as well. If these were a 45mm offset front and rear, you'd be in better shape for the 991 crowd. That said, they are beautiful wheels, maybe someone will want to run them with spacers.

Thanks for the posts and confirmation on the stock specs. The fronts will indeed work well with a small spacer.
I'll be selling this set for a great deal as I've decided to clear out parts I've hoarded over the years.
$1500 plus shipping & pp fees.
Anyone interested?
