Default rolling the dice...sort of

so i have to suspend my 2014 c2s order as something is going to be happening that will leave me unable to drive said vehicle for a determined period of time...
i don't see much sense in having a vehicle that i can't drive so i was thinking that i would roll the dice, drop my allocation and wait to see what the 2015 MY might bring. i know its speculative but based on the mules flying around it looks like there might be a refresh (very minor...991.2?) and/or the addition of a new model GTS. in terms of the 911 line, i don't want a turbo which leaves me with the NA options. although i do like the GT3, its a little too hardcore for me. i don't think i would be a good owner for it and give it the exercise it would need. plus, i hate alcantara. i'd be interested in a bridge between the c2s and the gt3 since the c2s i had was pretty much specced to the point of being the same price as a gt3 so it would be interesting to see what porsche has up its sleeves. decisions decisions...

Wait for the rear wheel steering like on GT3 and Turbo. Should filter down to C2S soon. Will make it nimble like short wheel base car.

Something they may add if you wait till 2015 is a backup camera. When I asked about it the salesman said probably in 2015.

If you are not in a hurry then wait for the new model.

You sound like an X51 candidate too. That essentially fills the gap between the S and the GT3. If I hadn't opted for a C2S Cab in the last year, I would be looking at the 50th anniversary coupes right now.

i was thinking about that...in canada its a $20,000 option so it makes it really difficult to justify for an incremental boost..

If I'm informed correctly, the facelift will be MY2016 (introduction spring 2015). Unfortunately I have no confirmation on this.

I also want to wait for the 991.2 or maybe even wait for the 981.2..... Don't know yet.
