Thanks guys. I had a 2003 996 and flipped into a 2001 360 Spider. I sold the F to a buddy in 2010. I'd been a one car guy for the couple years and was committed to keeping that going with the 991 S Cab purchase but then I just had a honest conversation with myself about what I really wanted. The answer kept coming back 458...so pulled the trigger. I'm keepin my 650i as a DD.

The car is so easy to drive quickly. It inspires confidence like no other. Engine, chassis, transmission are all standouts. One upside with this car is also a downside...its looks. I like looking at it and so does everyone else. Highway, parked, anywhere. It invites a lot of unwanted and sometimes scary attention. First world problem...I know.

I rented a 458 Italia in Europe for a weekend .. amazing machine!

Best enjoyed in Italy!.. Wish we had roads like this in Texas!
