I love it. Nice job.

I'm always looking up at the headliner and wishing there was more alcantara in my S.

I just drove my buddies 2012 997 GTS yesterday. Everything alcantara in there. It's nice. Just like his GT3.

I did exactly the same swap in my present 991S. I'd had the full alcantara interior in my '11 GTS and loved it, particularly the steering wheel. I do a lot of track work and find the leather a little slippery. In addition I live in what is basically a desert area and the alcantara does not heat up like leather.

It hadn't occurred to me to try to sell the leather wheel, (PDK/sport +) but if anyone's interested...

I love that alcantara wheel. I too love the way it looks and feels. But I didn't have the guts to get it, as I was afraid of how it wouldl look after some use ...

i thought the same, but then i drove a 997.1 GT3 with 25k on the odometer and the alcantara still looked decent. sure looks a little less new, but imo ages well. leather tends to get shiny over the miles and requires too much effort to keep that new matte finish that the dash etc keeps.
