Service/Repair Manuals
i've searched around and based on the lack of information available, i think its safe to say that the german auto makes are no longer releasing service manuals in PDF/book form but rather, online or DVD...this is a longshot but does anyone know of any place where information can be purchased with respect to the 991? upon delivery, there are a few things that i'd like to do and given that i have about 5 months to go, i thought i would go through some schematics so i can plan out what i need to do. any info would be awesome. thank you

There is no longer a book manual. There is the online porsche Tech manual , Here is the link:

You can make an account, put a few bucks in it and purchase various instructions and diagrams.
What exactly are you trying to do?

-Seat removal so I can get the rear shells painted agate grey
-either 9500ci custom install or a hard wired power line for windscreen mount detector
-upgrade of sound system
-4" disco ball complete with in ceiling light projector

Burning Brakes
I'd do the disco ball also but seems there'd be an issue when the top was down.
Seriously, any good indy shop or electronics shop can do the 9500 install. Some people put the controls for that in the ashtray spot.
