Leaking pink fluid

Leaking pink fluid
So, just got back from business trip, my wife was driving the 991 today.
Just let the dogs out and noticed a puddle of pink fluid under the rear of car.
I could not determine where this came from and nothing looked amiss under the car. No warning lights came on, started car and let run for a few minutes and everything was fine. I would guess that there is about half a pint or less of the fluid.
Does anyone have any ideas on this, will call dealer in am just wondering if my wife may have smacked something coming up the drive.
Thanks

sounds like tranny to me:
Pink, Red, Dark Red = Transmission Fluid
Red, Dark Red = Steering Fluid
Green, Pink, Red = Coolant
As you can see, colors tend to be the same for both major engine components. What you ned to do is find out the "thickness" of the fluid. Is it thin or light weight like water or is it thick and heavy like oil?
If it is water-like = Coolant or Steering
If it is oil-like = Transmission
I think steering would be under the front of the car.

Burning Brakes
Jlanka is spot on. Where was it dripping from? Were you able to see any accumulation on the car? The wife didn't spill a strawberry daiquiri that meandered under the car did she? Check the undercarriage to see exactly where it's from.

You didn't just get it serviced did you? I had some coolant (pink) drip from the expansion tank after a service this spring where they overfilled coolant just a bit. It didn't materialize until the car got hot and I didn't notice until I parked it at home where it dropped for a bit until it cooled off. Left rear corner.
Your amount sounds like it may be more than that possibility though?

Thanks guys, its not as viscous as oil, but a little thicker or stickier than water. I had a good look underneath with a flashlight and felt around but could not see where it had come from.
I did also notice as i went through the car info screen that my car is not due for a service unit 2017, so obviously something is wrong there.
Ive hd the car for about a year, have 10k on it, so its due for an oil change anyway. Calling the dealer now.
Thanks

Our coolant is pink. I had the same problem a few months ago, antifreeze was leaking onto my exhaust pipe on the drivers side. It turned out to be a cracked coolant reservoir. Replaced under warranty and I haven't had a problem since.
