Default service messages

I'm at about 6k km and I've had about 3 interim service messages and 1 service message.

My oil levels are all good and it seems to be a software issue.

I've been to the dealer three times and they have deleted the messages for me.

Now I have a service message and they are asking me to come in to get it deleted as its a common issue with the 991 range.
My dealer says the only service I need to do is at 10k kms. Although because my first service is free I'm wondering if they are just delaying...

My question is if anyone thinks I should take it in to get serviced or wait till the 10k kms.

When is your car built?

Mine is February 2013 built with almost 12,000km and none of these messages at all.

Hmmm, interesting. I guess it is a car specific problem and not related to build dates since mine is built before yours?

Yeah I'm pretty sure its car specific, although after looking at a few forums i notice a lot of people are facing the same issue. I got my first interim service message at 500 km!

I'm on my 3rd interim service message reset after 4000 miles.... Porsche does not have a fix for it yet. Seems like a trivial (?) SW update is required.
