Default Different gear ratios in a MT car

Has anyone considered changing the gear ratios in a MT car. I wonder if they can be adjusted closer to the ones in a GT3. This may make the car more lively. In a Powerkit car the effect would be even more noticeable. The combination could make for a less flashy alternative to a GT3.

Of course they can be changed. PDK too for that matter, although in that case it wouldn't surprise if the factory had to do it. Lots of places stateside could change ratios in a 991 gear box. Nobody ever does stuff like this though. They'll spend a thousands on fiberglass, wheels and coffee can mufflers before putting hundreds into gears that will really make the car move. Because the thing is, the car already moves just fine.

I re geared my RS
Changed ring and pinion and first thru fourth gears
Far more "usable" than a car geared to 190+ mph
It's not difficult but does cost
