I dont know how they can wait for their 991

Correct about my 2 year wait. That wait was not from Porsche. That deposit was to put me at the top of the wait list for MY dealer. My dealer is the largest in Canada so my thought process was to go ahead with the deposit to get the first one in Canada. It worked and I was. Still 2 years is 2 years. Of course I had my 997.2 S which made the wait a lot easier.

I custom ordered my 991 also - so I can understand how hard the wait is. It'll pass by faster than you think. The really painful part is tracking that slug of a ship
I very highly doubt Porsche is somehow artificially creating additional build times. That makes no sense. My car arrived 2+ weeks early. How long your wait will be purely depends on timing, and probably which 991 variant you're ordering.

Bacura, congratulations on being the first in Canada to receive a 50th.
It would be great if Porsche provided lucky owners with a certificate
to attest that specific models are the first in each country. Would be helpful for future valuations.

Waiting just makes the delivery day so much more exciting!!
My C2S was completed last Friday and is on its way to the ship!! Hopefully she will be here early!
...Wait a minute, I still have over a month and a half to go... Never mind, waiting sucks.

Do any Midwesterners here have any experience on the timeframe to get shipped from port to the dealer? Mine is coming into Davisville, RI and is heading to Springfield, IL.
