Model designation - opinions
I'm not a huge fan of the word salad Porsche is putting on the rear of the cars.
What is everyone doing with the model designation?
I'm thinking deleting it all and the clean look may be my favorite, although the simple 911 is decent also. Just not a fan of "911 Carrera S" - a bit much imo.

^Hammer, that looks g r e a t !!! I think the C4S/C4 really pulls that look of nicely because of the light bar (luv it). Don't think the non 4 cars pull that off as well. Almost too bare. Just "PORSCHE" looks good on those variants.

Hammer, was that a factory option?
My understanding was if you select "model designation delete" that the word "Porsche" still remains? Is this the case and you had it subsequently removed after you took delivery? If so, how much did it cost / where did you have it done?

Park in sun. Warm up adhesive tape. Dental floss to remove letters. Remove remaining adhesive with 3M Adhesive Remover. Wax with your favorite product. Done.

I believe you are correct regarding the extent of the "model designation delete." My dealer arranged for my car to be delivered to me this way. They utilized a Porsche authorized paint/body shop. ( I understand a lot of guys do it themselves - there have been several threads (that's a hint!) about this. Regarding cost, let's just say I have an excellent multi-year multi-vehicle multi-referral relationship with my dealer and PCNA. (read $zero.) Well...not really zero I guess...probably paid for it in advance over the years!
