Burning Brakes
Contemplated doing the 10K oil change DIY , but needed a software
update for the PDK so went to Porsche dealer. $256 w/tax.
Our 2012 & 2014 Acura MDX's service costs $39.95 ea
Service w/campaign took about 2 hours & could easily be done by me except the computer stuff. Also the dealer inputs service directly to Porsche Germany for their records.
Was close to purchasing a MAX JAX, but I have no way to reset service reminders etc. Handy for wheel, tire & other stuff though. Not sure if it's $2K handy enough. I still might.

I'm not going to do a thing beyond: wash, treat leather, wax, air pressure. I have too many other things to maintain already: tractor with all implements, two trucks, commercial mower, large home, etc. If I was younger I'd love to do all of the Porsche maintenance I could, but I just don't have the energy to do much more than drive it. My 911 is all fun and no work...so far.

Speaking of 991 DIY, I just put on my winter wheels today. Jack points were easy to spot. Torque amount for the lug nuts was listed right in the owners manual. After I was done, just drove around the block and the TPM system registered the new tires. Easy DIY!

Not sure where you guys shop, but I just did an oil change for less than $65 in parts:
2 x 5qt Mobil1 0w40 from Walmart @ $22.66 (only used 8qts, waiting to check level)
1 x Wix filter from O'Reilly auto @ 13.49
Total $58.81 + 5.00 tax = $63.81
I did not have a 36mm socket for the oil filter cap, but I found that a 1 3/8" was a very tight fit and it worked fine. Let it drain a long time per the comments on this site.
Was probably the cleanest oil change of all the vehicles I have ever owned! I guess the Porsche dealer is very proud of their facilities and mechanics to charge another ~$200 for labor.

dont forget the value of a full service history when you come to sell/trade-in your car...
