Thanks.

Actually there is one that is virtually identical to mine - has sport design front bumper instead of the Sport Chrono.

Rizza Porsche is advertising some pretty good deals too... at least 10% off and who knows, they might go lower

For me, the sun here at altitude in Colorado is too intense to enjoy driving a convertible very long. I had an M3 convertible and a C4 Cab, ended up really just having the top down on nice evenings.

That's a beautiful car by the way!

For what it's worth...Sales guy tells me 2014's are now getting a year end lease incentive. I'm not savvy on the lease financials, but he showed me 2014 C4S Cab lease rate:12,000 miles-27 month was 0.00220
Would you call this good? I just don't know? I'm debating buying car outright....trading 2009 C4S Cab.

Kit, I think the greatest thing about the 991 was seeing your entire family enjoying a cruise along the cliffs in Santa Cruz today...try doing that in a Corvette.

Agree on packing the family in - kids love the cosy back seats for a "cruise" along Skyline. I do take it easy when we're all in the car though.

On the lease question - check out Edmunds for good discussion on rates and residuals - http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/Web...2@.f0cc27b/681

It also depends greatly on the negotiated sales price and residual, but I think the base Porsche lease rate is 0.0020. If he is telling you a marked up rate is a good deal and a special I would be wary.

At 17% off, a marked up rate wasn't too bad. (I paid 0.00015 over with a 17% discount - worked out really nicely)

With these "great deals"- what is your actual monthly lease payment? Thinking of selling mine for a 991 s cab

Over 17% on my just purchased 13 991 C2S with aerokit, PDCC, PDK, sport PASM, sport design steering wheel, BOSE, and a whole lot of other stuff that I wouldn't have ordered myself, but nice since I didn't have to pay for it. Everything I wanted and more. Just couldn't pass it up.

kitwetzler and dalema,

I'm located in the SF Bay Area and looking to buy a 2013 CS. Any advice regarding the dealers in the area? I'm closest to Stevens Creek but I've been told Fremont gives the best deals.

Thanks,

Walter
