Could you elaborate on this? The Porsche part numbers from both the 2009-on 997.2 and the 991 cross reference to the exact same Beru TPMS sensor. The frequency, 433 MHz, is also the same. Thanks.

Sorry for the confusion. I was answering from home without my database at my disposal. Depending on the model (Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Panamera) the sensor could be different when comparing. My intention was to point out a 911 sensor may not fit into a Cayman or Boxster. It IS possible that between the same model there could be some interchangeability. You are actually correct in your findings on the two above cars. The 991 and the 997.2 does have the same sensor between them. But, if I were to look at an 08 911, they don't match. You just have to know the two exact models and years and to know for sure.

I'm always happy to help anyone compare a used set to see if they will fit your car. Just call me.

Thanks for confirming. I think this will be useful to those buying wheel sets or moving from a late 997 to a 991.
