MISHA Designs – Porsche 991 body kit unveiling in iForged/Forgestar booth at SEMA
Here are the first rendering photos of our new Porsche 991 Body Kit.
IForged/Forgestar has provided a 2013 991 Carrera for prototyping.
We will unveil the kit at the 2013 SEMA show beginning of November in Las Vegas at the iForged / Forgestar booth.
The body kit is available for pre order and deliveries will start immediately after the show.
With the full body kit, you’ll receive a front bumper, hood, side skirts, rear bumper with diffuser and a rear spoiler.
Misha Designs Porsche 991 body kit will be available for all Porsche 991 models from 2012 to present and will fit on either standard or wide body cars.
Individual parts of this Porsche 991 body kit are available without the purchase of the full kit, although we recommend using the entire kit for the best look.
Some parts of the Porsche 991 body kit are available in optional carbon fiber:
-Front bumper lip
-Diffuser
-Wing blade

Looks ok to me. Ok, but on the aggressive, racy side of the spectrum. You loose a bit of elegance.

The rear is not bad, flows well. I like the double decker wing better than the porsche one, although that isn't saying much, the whole double decker thing looks strange to me. The front is a problem though. I doubt there are internal modifications to the trunk area, so the bumper vents and trunk lid vents are all fake. That's just not what this car is about.

Agreed - the rear isn't terrible. The front, however, is trying way too hard. None of this is ever going to end up on my 991 though, that's for sure. The look of the 991 right out of the factory is stunning as-is, and requires no aftermarket cosmetic mods to make it look any cooler than it already is. Obviously just my opinion - some folks are into this sort of thing.

I think it looks awesome as long as that is the look the individual wants. It would look stupid for instance if it had the stock wheels. It gets my vote, but I do like the rear vs the front

Sorry, but IMHO it looks too "tunerish"... and loses the sophisticated look that is a 911.
Just my thoughts here.
I get the look: A-La 991 GT3. However, what I see when I look at the front and rear: There are too many odd shapes on the components that contrast with the flow and design of the main body of the car.
The 911 has such beautiful lines and the "blockness" (I don't think that's even a word...) of the kit design does not compliment the smooth flow of the main body. Look at the lower portion of the front and rear of the kit; It just doesn't fit. The rear is better than the front. The front looks like something off of "The Fast and Furious." I guess if that is the look you are going for, then you have achieved it.
The best retro fit kits look like they were made for the car; not an afterthought.
Unfortunately, it looks like you put a Japanese front and rear on a German body. And for me, it just doesn't work.
Just my thoughts here.

Right. And this does not look like it was made for the car. It looks like it was made for the segment of the Fast and Furious rice-burner crowd that thought it would be cool (or whatever word they use) to mess up a German car instead. Why not go for something different? Slam it, mount some 10" whitewalls that stick out by a foot, with optional fuzzy dice, dingle ***** and full-velvet interior. It'll be awesome. As long as its the look the individual wants...
