Default Extended Range Fuel Tank.

Does anyone know if the option "082 - Extended Range Fuel Tank" that is available on the GT3 is available on any other models? Specifically, 4 wheel drive versions like the 4S Cab or Turbo S? If so, what is the MSRP on that?

No it's not available. The GT3 is by far the least fuel efficient 991, so maybe that's why that option is only available on that particular model. I think it also decreases luggage space. (Not complletely sure about that)

Suzy, I could be wrong, but I thought the standard tank on the GT3 was simply smaller than the standard 991 and the extended range is the same as a standard 991. I'm curious and still waiting to see the MPG on the GT3. It still published everywhere as N/a or TBD.

The extended range tank for the 991 GT3 is 23.7 gallons, and is FREE. Wish we could get one, too.

The salesman I reached out to thought the same thing.

Yep. 16.9 gallons in the GT3, 17.9 gallons in the other 991s, and 23.7 gallons in the ERT. Which would be a 32% bump in capacity for the non-GT3 cars, a nice thing to have for track days and long trips.

The german website gives following EU figures:

18,9 liter/100km city (12,4 mpg)
8,9 liter/100km highway (26,4 mpg)
12,4 liter/100km combined (18,9mpg)

These figures are probably not exaclty the same as the final U.S. figures, but will come pretty close I guess.

For comparison, a 991 C2S has the following EU figures:

12,2 liter/100km city (19,3 mpg)
6,7 liter/100km highway (35,1 mpg)
8,7 liter/100km combined (27 mpg)

That's strange... EU figures:

C2S has standard 64 liter
GT3 has standard 64 liter, optional 90 liters
C4S has standard 68 liter

Either way, I went with the big tank, sounds like I'll need it!

Haha yes I think you do...

Saw this picture on Chris Harris' twitter. He was at the track testdriving the Turbo S. Look at how far he can go with a little les than a half tank or petrol Name: image-3535255833.png

The extended range tank gets you through a typical track day without filling up - no GT3 should be ordered w/o it!

I can't imagine how hard you have to drive to get that type of mileage.

On track days I get 9 mpg. Low fuel warning comes on early and often, very annoying.

That's about what I get. At an event yesterday I was getting the low fuel warning light, showing a remaining range of 39 miles - with the gas gauge needle sitting right on 1/2 tank.

That's why I wish it was an option on the other 911.

Unless I'm somehow wrong, in the USA the base Carrera has 16.9 gallons of capacity. The other variants have less, like the C4 etc. due to driveline space requirements.
