Mansions are too much work to maintain. Even if you pay other people to do the work.

Good call on the cars! You have your priorities straight.

They're a lot more fun.

I don't think thats what the BMWCCA had in mind when they raffled it off! Supposed to keep you in the brand! (we have both brands)

Nope! ... but I took one look at the 2.3L Z3 "clown shoe" then at the 993 C2S, did the math, took the cash for the "shoe" and sold my E36 M3 and never looked back!

Never had the clown shoe, but my wife had a first gen and now the current Z4. Great cars, but I love my P cars! Had an M235i for a year before my C2S. It was a great performer, but I never once looked back at it in a parking lot.

Z4's and M235i are pretty cool - there was nothing about the Z3 (even as a prize) that was attractive in addition to my E36 M3, and once I'd done the
math and figured I could afford a new 993 well ... I would have been daft not to take the money and run!

I mean seriously, this:

or this...

You say that as if there is something wrong with a Miata. I'd take one any day over a non M Z3.

Miatas are the real deal. Nothing but love for an inexpensive, light, stiff, rwd roadster.
