Well, I'm afraid that I can't share that info (or the secret handshake), but a friend of mine who is a surgeon best described part of the equation (how big a part and the way you deal with it depends on the individual). While in training a professor told him that being fortunate enough to marry well would net him more than he would make in his entire career.

My dad gave me similar advice:

He said: "son, that you were born in a poor family is something you can not change, but that you married into a poor family is your own stupid mistake"

This was a good read. I like the stat compilation early on that the average was 46.2...that is exactly how old I was when I bought my car earlier this year. First Porsche. 46-Architect. We did this with fellow R8 owners on an Audi forum and very similar break down there as here but slightly younger average as was I at that point. Same with my Audi RS6 way back when but then at least I was on the young side. I do find it interesting to just see the range of people on the forums and what people do relative to what their persona is like on the forums.

Only 3 1/2 years till I should get a vette and I must say I do like the C7.

Traded my highly modded 700hp C7 for my p-car and never looked back. Good car, but no comparison. Loved the torque at 620, but driving the 4s is a whole different experience.

Your car looks fantastic. Yup, I could see that easily. I was kidding knowing my own tastes but the car is far better and the exterior and interior are actually finally attractive to me, but I do get a kick out of that since I am rolling up on a certain age. That said I will however own a '63 split window coupe one of these days to go with my 60 caddy in the classic car section of my garage. Anyway even now just picked the 911S when a new Z06 was in range. There wasn't another Audi that fit exactly what I was after yet so finally drove the Porsche and ticked all my boxes for a fun commuter car to weave through traffic that is not too obnoxious or showy to take to meetings or the office even though a sports car. Have always wanted one in the back of my head since drawing mid 80s turbos and Carreras on my folders in high school so finally did it.
