I'm thinking of doing one of the December dates. My only concern is too much time doing Autocross stuff and not enough track time. Its been a while since I did HPDE in my M3 days, but I really dont want to do a beginners course.
Anyone have any info?
Mel911....looking forward to your review of the course.

I will be there for the Masters course next week. Their programs are excellent. Nice blend of on/off track. No question that you'll get enough track time. Go - you'll be glad you did .

You could use the search function to research this, as there have been lots of threads. I've been to Performance and Masters, and plan to attend Masters Plus next year.
If you have limited or no prior track experience, Performance is a wonderful introduction. If you're an experienced track rat, you'd want to talk to PSDS to see if they would let you take the Masters class instead.
The facilities are excellent. The instructor staff is excellent. The amenities are excellent. It's pretty darned expensive but I had a wonderful time and recommend it without hesitation.

We did the Performance a few years back, and it was a great experience... Lots of instruction, lots of drills, lots of track time... I could do without the Cayenne off-road portion, but part of the sell I guess... We bought a Panamera Turbo not too long after due solely to driving it there (just after it was released).
The hotel they use is really nice, but a bit far from the track... Overall, a great experience. We had planned to go back when they offered the 'turbo' course, but it was cancelled, and we do plan to go back for the 'Masters' at some point... We also have a Ferrari course scheduled up in Canada.

I attended the Atlanta event as well. Not too much track time, but that's not really the point for this one. Lots of focus on alternative fuels (Panny and Cayenne Diesel) They do provide a 10% off the driving school, which is kind of what prompted this thread.
Have fun!

I'm doing the Porsche Performance Driving School this weekend, at Qualcomm (San Diego), and then the DE at Chuckwalla Raceway on Oct. 18- 20. Looks like a blast!

If i could offer some advice: find a good group, i.e. try to get matched up with people that you think will go fast. Follow the leader format means that if there's someone slow in your group, it will be painful. can speak from experience. averaged twice as fast getting to the track as what i went on the track.
