Default Chassis System Failure Warning

Has anyone received this warning? Happened last week in my 2012 991S and it was followed by a screeching/whining noise around the right rear wheel. Dealer has not determined the problem.

Your timing is impeccable!

Just yesterday on a lonely deserted road I had it up to 220 km/h then immediately braked to get it down to 150km/h. Upon braking, there was a loud whining sound coming from the right rear. This lasted from 220 down to about 150 when I let off the brakes and let the car coast down to 100. No warning lights. Had the sunroof tilted up so the sound was very loud.

Never occurred before doing the exact same thing on the same road, several times over the last year.

May 2012 build, 991S.
I will jack up the car and inspect the right rear ASAP!

Small rock thrown up by the braking action jamming between rotor and some brake assembly part can do that.

Had one even worse - small rock of just the right size got between the rotor fins and jammed a front completely solid (happened at very low speed). Took a lot of jigling to finally break the rock and free the wheel.

Yes.

2012 991S, Sport PASM, S Chrono, PDCC

Didn't think of the jammed small rock that Rainier pointed out. Didn't find anything out of place when I inspected and issue has not happened again.
