Has anyone installed this on the 991? I love PSE would would love it more a bit louder. Since I'm not planning on keeping my car past next year and don't want to spend 5k+ for other exhaust systems. Any feedback would be great.

Haven't seen the sharkworks piece but the guys at AWE did an exhaust upgrade on our 991.
It is louder than the stock system... no drone....
With PSE off it's just a little louder until you get over 3500RPM.
With PSE on it's there from idle on.
Wide open throttle and it has a sort of shriek to it.

Hey all - just wondering if anyone has been able to compare the Sharkwerks and AWE sport exhausts for the base 3.4. I've seen recommendations for both, but haven't really been able to find comparisons. Thanks in advance!

I put the Kline Iconel exhaust on about 1 month ago. It just keeps getting better as I drive it. Sound is unlike anything I have heard. Went to cars and coffee last weekend and received a lot of thumbs up on the sound.

Are you guys talking the SW sport exhaust or the race? Alex Ross doesn't recommend the Sport exhaust if you have PSE as it removes the switchable (button console) control! The race exhaust is the removal of the side mufflers and he says it is very loud with a highway drone. The other 3 "reasonable" options (AWE, Fabspeed, and Agency Power) all use an "X pipe" design which looks more like a small muffler still in the center and they all claim hp/T gains and higher weight reductions than the SW one which I don't believe! Any one else have thoughts and proof?

I ran the Sharkwerks side exhausts with my FVD Brombacher valved center x-pipe. Sharkwerks is a great bang for your buck, but it is definitely on the loud side. Having said that I basically had no mufflers with this configuration and ran Fabspeed headers. I still had my valves, but my options were only loud and different loud. It was a monster LOL!
One of the great benefits of running the Sharkwerks side exhaust is that you ditch the big-*** mufflers right next to the rear wheels. Since you don't have a fender lining on the 991 the rear tires get really hot with the stock muffler on track days.
