I have the same clear bra. I live in upstate NY and the bugs are having a convention here this time of year. I try to clean them off after every time out but I can tell the film is not handling the bugs as well as I thought it would. I also have several dings from rocks so on balance I am pleased I have the film though it isn't everything I had hoped it would be. Good thing the car is!

I don't know about clear bra (as an AACA Master Judge I'd never buy it) but on paint WD40 blows bugs away, instantly.

i had the 3m expel installed and to be honest I'm not that impressed. i actually ended up removing most of it as it marked/scuffed very easily and the 'self repairing' didn't seem to really work either.

Sorry to hear that. I just had Xpel installed on my car and have notice quite a few bugs on the front bumper. I'll be sure to clean up as soon as I see them.
