Default My favorite phone mount option

My favorite phone mount optionI've tried several mounts, and researched very many. IMO, this one is the best/most elegant solution I've seen thus far. Quality is very good, and its vibratioin free, easy to remove and mount the phone with one hand... I believe its only sold at apple stores and apple web site...

Thanks for posting this, as well as the pictures. I just ran across this product on a search for a phone holder (besides my pocket). This is called the Airframe, and you can buy it on Amazon.

I would be afraid it might snap the louvers on the vent - any undue stress there ?

I bought one of these mounts for my iPhone 5 and it worked well. But not with the added weight and larger dimensions of the Mophie Air battery pack I bought at the same time from the Apple store. Now the vent mount is being used in my wife's car to secure her Samsung Galaxy phone. Too bad it can't handle the Mophie's heft because it seems like a nice, minimalist design.

That was my worry as well but it fits very well and doesn't seem like it puts a lot of stress on louvers.

What does the Panjo device connect to?

And what is current delivery time?

Do a board search on Proclip. Here's one thread:

It appears that the Airframe blocks air from the driver's side middle vent. Is that a problem?

Similarly, it seems like the Panjo would interefere with proper operation of either the glove box, or cup holders. Is that an issue trusevich?

Quite happy with the RHS Proclip mount which I modified to have my iPhone more driectly face the driver.

Went over to my local Apple store and picked up the Kenu Airframe. Works perfectly in the 991 and the Infiniti. With the dash top vents set to waft air, and the other one blowing full tilt it doesn't block the other one above the PCS enough to matter. Simple, elegant solution! Thanks SB.

(PS puts Waze right were it needs to be. What agreat app)

Any suggestions for a mount for an iPad Mini ? Primary application would be for Waze - obviously don't want to scuff the vents etc.

Why do you want to mount your cell phone in a car that has Bluetooth? I just keep my iPhone5 in my pocket.

I ordered one and it was too small to fit my Galaxy Grand or Galaxy Nexus with extended battery.

Well, I cannot speak for others, but in my case, despite the Bluetooth, I'm always looking at my phone for a variety of things (although I do it a lot less in the P-car as my sense are usually fully engaged)

More importantly, I use it for this: http://www.waze.com
