Default PSE TODAY

Good morning
I couldnt sleep last night knowing I am getting a PSE installed on my 991 S. When I bought the car I really wanted it, but decided not to check the box. After reading all the possitive results on RL, I decided to have it installed. I will post some pics and let you know how the expericence went. Heading out now!!

The serivice advisor, Max at Jim Ellis Porsche just sent a picture of the new exhaust in the box. He's a good dude and is genualy excited about the work being done. He's kept me informed as the day has gone on. Kudo's to Jim Ellis for having a good rep to keep customer confidence at a high! All to often we pay a premium and get C- service.

Curious what your total bill will end up being.

The parts for PSE (on an S at least) are fairly inexpensive (see attached image)

There are a few vacuum lines not included. And labor for installation and labor for activation of the option.

The PSE is 2735.00 and the install is 900.00. So just under 4k with tax.

Joe, while waiting for the job to be completed, practice grinning. You are going to be doing a lot of that.

Make certain that they give you your old cans and tips, they are worth $400-800 on eBay. The service folks at Ellis are very customer orientated. You will love the PSE.

Thanks for the posts. I got the car back Saturday. It was actually ready Friday afternoon at 4, so it took them 7 hours including their lunch break to complete. Final tally was 3946 and change. Anyone in the Atlanta area considering a OEM sport exhaust for their P-car should give Max at Jim Ellis Porsche a call. As far as ordering it when purchasing the car, I agree its the less expensive way to go. But, I now have a new toy! It sounds incredible. I honestly can not contain my smile and laughter when driving around town. I probably averaged 10mpg and didn't listen to the radio.all weekend. I know this sucks, but I didn't take any video yet but it will and I will post it. I'm going to pick up the deinstallled stock exhaust tomorrow from the dealer. I'll post it in classifieds but if anyone is interested in it, let me know.
Have a good night!
Joe

Now, I'm not 100% sure this is everything. I don't know if the tips are different or if there are other parts, etc.
