Default 991 only run this Sat in So Cal (SFV)

(Board Admin- Please let this remain here if possible as I'm seeking 991 owners, thanks!)

I know there's a regional forum but I wanted to let you know about a 991 only run we've got planned for this Saturday 7/27.

We're meeting in West SFV and heading to one of the best roads in the world. We already have 6 cars in.

Let me know if interested either here, via PM or both.

PS - I apologize for excluding the 911's prior fantastic lineage but I just feel it be cool to get some 991's together

I think you should also exclude any 991 cars that don't have Full Leather.

gotta911 (Tim), how is that Sharkwerks Center bypass working with your pse? I just had the pse added to my 991 S and it is pretty loud now. I also had the Sharkwerks center bypass on my 997.2 before I traded it for my 991 (still have it in my garage - need to sell it), and liked it as well. How did it change the sound of the pse?

thx - b

As I am sure you are aware, the 997.2 was too quiet compared the sound of the 997.1, because Porsche added the center muffler to the 997.2.

I can't answer our question directly because I added the Sharkwerks center pipes BEFORE I had the PSE installed. It is loud, but I like it. I do get a lot of compliments on how "good" the car sounds.

Unfortunately, I have not heard my car from outside the car, other than at idle, because my wife won't drive it. While she drove my '04 996, she does not want to drive my current car, because she is afraid she will "do something bad" to the car.
