PCM / Bluetooth and Multiple Phones
I searched and couldn't find an answer.
I have an allocation for a GT3, but was hoping someone could give me some insight into how the PCM Bluetooth functions work.
I'll be ordering with PCM, Sound Package Pluss and Telephone Prep.
If I hop in alone and have already paired my phone it should recognize my phone and link up. I assume that my wife can also separately pair her phone and if she hops in alone her phone will be automatically linked.
What if we both hop in to go for a drive? Does the PCM unit ask which phone to link?
If we are both in the car and assuming I can choose which phone to link and I chose my phone. If my wife wants to switch to her phone to stream over bluetooth, can you do that on the fly or do you have to shut the car down to establish the bluetooth link with a different phone?
Are there any other quirks with the PCM and bluetooth?
Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan,
I have 2 iPhone 5s in my car ('12). I use one for my phone and one for audio. I played around w/ this a bit a few months ago w/ our local dealership service manager, and determined that the PCM would recognize 2, but required a selection a dominant phone. Accordingly, I keep one phone with Bluetooth on, and one phone (used for audio) with Bluetooth off.

Ive played with mine a bit as well. have 3 phones stored, mine is the dominant one.
one issue i had, was on a conference call outside a restaurant waiting for my wife. She was in the P car. She pulled into parking area and the PCM picked up my phone and automatically transferred it from my iphone into the car. because i had the phone to my ear i did not see the prompt asking how to listen to call, so it automatically switched.
