PDK reprogram and new exhaust
So I went in for these two items. Not sure if this is in my head but the car seems to be shifting smoother and at a slightly higher rpm and the new exhaust sounds better with slightly louder gurgles. Is it in my head

I had the May version PDK update yesterday and first drive I agree with you about smoother shifting and rpm, especially 2-3rd. On the exhaust, I swear the PSE is louder after the update, and I got the wife lecture on "did I again spend more money on adding a new pipe or something". Told her to call Porsche NA, that ought to keep her out of my hair for a month at least.
My water temp is at 200F, doesn't change much.

The things that I notice after the reprogram are that the engine coolant hits 194f and does not rise above and that if a trip originates after 1pm the PCM no longer logs it as AM. The start up sounds louder but who knows

After pdk update, porsche part number 99161861908 to be more specific, does anyone notice a new feature "shift request" under display menu in onboard PCM. Or it was there the whole time and I just didn't pay attention?
Shift request = when pdk on manual, pointing UP arrow will appear on center/rpm display guiding you to shift efficiently.
