Default Changes from MY 2013 to 2014

Hello,

My name is Bret and am new to this forum. My wife and myself just ordered a 2014 991.
Are there any changes from last years model to this years?
My dealer did not know.
American manufacturers will have dealer info packets with any changes from year to year, does Porsche provide this information?

Best,

Bret.

Welcome,
Since its inception, the only significant change has been the addition of rev-matching.
A few cosmetic changes (colours / stitching etc) and Adaptive Cruise Control and Active Safe as an options.

Other than that, there is nothing that I'm aware of.

PS. Get another dealer (it's his job to know).

Cargo netting? I want that. Is it easily retro-fitable? I'll go look in my frunk to see if there are attachment points.

Just to clarify that the LED lights and steering wheel referenced above are now available options.

But as a standard car, no difference..

It's a little net in the passenger footwell on the side of the center console. It is a free option, just like the smoker's package. I think the 981 has it as standard.

Good that it's not standard.

oh bother! I was envisioning a quick-release net to hold bawdy passengers at the ready during high-speed shenanigans.

"Quiet, you, or it's the net!" Muhahaha

My 2012 C2S Cab has the little net on the transmission tunnel on the passenger side. Is the net being discussed different than what I've got

Look in the configurator...
Option 991: ejector seat (only in combination with sunroof or glass sunroof)

When CH reviewed the 991 GT3 he said the electric steering is all "software tuning" and that he'll be "amazed" if it doesn't show up on every single 911 soon. Any luck that may actually happen in 2014? I know the front geometry is different but a more nicely weighted steering would be nice!
