It's a little net in the passenger footwell on the side of the center console. It is a free option, just like the smoker's package. I think the 981 has it as standard.

Bummer, my order was put in by my sales guy before informing me of any changes (I'm quite sure he still doesn't know about this net and other items).
Not that I need it, but it would have been nice to have the option.

When there come changes, the German Porsche configurator (porsche.de) will have them first. Like for instance the new interior-color. That still does not appear on my Swiss configurator, but it is on the German one. So before I make my final decision I always look if there are new things I maybe want or not want on my car.
Of course, the website is in German, but with a little help from Google translate it can help if you're ordering a car I guess. Maybe a tip for everyone who's ordering right now...
It's a shame, by the way, that your sales guy doesn't have all the info that he needs to sell a car.
I was told that production beginning week 41 this year for the 991 TT there will be a back up camera. I can only assume that this will be implemented across the 991 line.
No charge options:
* Smoking package
* Cargo net on passenger side tunnel
* Painted crest on wheels.
Best, Bret.
Painted crest on wheels is not a free option in all countries unfortunatly. In Switzerland we have to pay 230 Swiss Francs, which is about $245. Even in Germany it isn't free.
You are correct except, in the U.S.,the painted wheel crests are included (free) with the Sport Techno wheels.
That is correct, that is also free in Switzerland and all other countries, because the Sport Techno wheels are only available with painted crest. You can't get them without.
