Hi all,
I live in an area where it is hard to get the dealer to budge on price. I have seen people talking about discounts of 6 to 10% on 2013s.
Has anyone ever done purchased from an out of state dealer and got the car shipped? Please pm me if you have any dealers that your would recommend to work with.
I really want the C2S PDK, PASM and Sport Chrono for the extra power, but it looks like some people have been able to get into the base C2 PDK for just under $1000 a month, where it looks like the C2S, would be close to $1600.
Thanks!

It shouldn't make any difference where you buy the car so far as how you are treated concerning any problems or servicing the car. I bought my car out of state and flew in and drove it back. Local dealer has been very nice and Porsche has been very helpful with a recall. It is a good idea to join the local Porsche club as they are usually interacting with the dealers on a regular basis and you can make good contacts at the dealership.

I have bought 6 Porsches, all out of state. The only issue I have run into is that some states it's more expensive to buy a car, extra fees from state required, not dealer, in particular Pennsylvania. Otherwise I have never had a problem.
FYI: Porsche of Kings Automall in cincinatti OH (Josef's Porsche) is a great dealer to work with, great inventory and eager to earn business. It's pretty far away from you, but if trying to find a good deal you should check them out.

Is your dealer not moving off MSRP? I ended up with 8.5% off MSRP a month ago on a 2013 (then some more for lease conquest) in the Bay Area.
I did my negotiation primarily over email. Maybe you could motivate you local dealers by showing them what others are willing to do (ie an email from them).

Dalema, thank you so much for your help on another board! I got the same deal you got on a C2S without any back and forth negotiation. All done over two phone calls. Car is Agate Grey on Agate Grey/Pebble Grey interior. Will post details and pics in another thread. Thanks again!!!

The difference between MSRP and Invoice is ~10%. Dealer allotment and model designation is a big part of the equation. They were more liberal with discounts for the (2014) C2S than the C4S and even more frugal with the Turbo.
