You got it right, Suzy! Rule #1: The wife is always right. Rule #2: Even if the wife is wrong, see Rule #1.

What's the rationale in having 2 two door sports cars? If collecting that's one thing, but from a practicality standpoint seems odd. If I remember correctly, the Spyder was recently voted the best handling sports car by several mags in last year or 2 (granted before 991 out i think) so how much are you truly going to gain from a track/enjoyment standpoint by ditching it for a 991?

I love my Panamera S. I also love 911. I recently sold my 997 and now I'm trying to decide what to do for a second car.

To the OP: what about selling the spyder and buying a 911 cab?

Spyder plus 50th Anniversary 991 was my first thought.

Well, second thought. First was a bigger garage.

Default Decision Made!

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I ended up trading in the Panamera Turbo for a 991 Carrera S. I always wanted a 911. Given my track record, I am went with a two year lease. At the end of that, assuming I still love the 911, I'll order one exactly the way I want it. In the meantime, I absolutely love this car. I am still considering selling the Spyder, but we'll see!

Beautiful car and nice wheels! They look like the HRE P44SC's, only slightly different. Who makes them?

I just realized that those are the 20" Carrera S wheels. They look different in that picture to me for some reason. Very nice!

Nope - those are not the 20" Carrera S wheels. Close, but definitely not.

Edit: picture attached of my wheel (and yes, I have since replaced the side markers!):

Then I am not crazy! I thought the sidewalls looked a little thin.

They also look a lot like 21" Modulare B30's. What do I win?
