Cool New Interior Combo now available

Just got super news 4 days before my freeze date that cognac/expresso is no available for C4S built. Changing today to White and Cognac/Expresso. A very happy day for me. Note it is not yet on the configurator

Check out the PTS and LTS thread on this 991 site. I ordered and took delivery of a 991S with an Espresso/Cognac interior. THe only difference will be the extent that Porsche uses the lighter, Cognac, leather for the interior. Chances are Porsche will make the interior cognac and then the dash and upper parts of the interior in espresso. The rest of the interior will be cognac. Never-the-less, still a fantastic interior (if I do not say so myself).

Navy, do you think it will look nice with a sapphire blue exterior (c4s cab?) with black top?

We followed your detailed posts and actually delayed our 2013 build for a 14 hoping for the espresso/cognac interior to become standard. The Custom build price was ouch. And as we said yesterday our wish came true. We had a 996 Cab in natural leather (very similar to cognac) and really wanted that interior again. Now we get even a better interior as the espresso should certainly reduce sun glare on the dash. Again thank you for being a leader.

Richard 911,
You will very pleased with the espresso/cognac interior. I noticed that the floor mats are not the lighter cognac but espresso. That is good because the dirt will not show up as much as if the mat was cognac.
Now, because the espresso/cognac is not a LTS order but a standard order your car will probably not take 190 days from order to delivery.
One other note; I have not had any issues with reflections in the windshield with the espresso dash.

Navy, I did order last month a C2s, metalic mahogany / bi tone epresso cognac, I ordered all deviating stiching, -cognac stitching in espresso parts and viceversa- in the dark parts it come by default in bi tone colors.
Today I received an email telling me that there is no Z options (deviating stitching) in bi tone cars, that if I want it, I have to get LTS, get the espresso interiors and add the parts I'd like in cognac, then add the stitching.
For this I'd have to wait 6 months, I think it is ridiculous, science what I just need is to get another color in thread. I know the have their configuration policies, so I'm not sure what to do, I wonder how Wouk the car looked with 2 different stitching in a bi tone leather and also I'm not sure if it would be so many dark parts if I order espresso and add some cognac parts, in a car like yours it looks beautiful, but in a metalic mahogany ...?

Do you have any photos of your interiors so I can get an idea?

Thanks.
H

How did you get the deviating stitching on the dash? Did they allow you to order that months ago? Sounds like they've now changed policy, unfortunately.

With Espresso/Cognac deviated stitching is included at no added cost. I did the extra leather packages and was pleasantly surprised the Espresso parts were deviated stitched. Did get the steering column wrapped and that required special note to get the deviated stitching.

I'd pay you real money to reduce the size of those photos - at least thumbnail them or something.

By the way way, like how you did the deviated stitching cost too - how much extra was that?

Looks absolutely gorgeous! Congrats!

Regarding the reducung of the oics... I think something went wrong there. My iPad app crashes when I try to look at the pictures. I can open them in safari though, so it might be just a bug in the app.
